About
Southern California native Brian Gonosey brings over three decades of professional experience in both production and post-production to his work as an award-winning film and television editor. He began his editing journey as a post PA at a commercial production company, cutting director’s cuts during nights and weekends—an early chapter that set the tone for a career built on craft, curiosity, and persistence.
After working as an Assistant Editor on commercials and music videos, Brian moved into long-form storytelling, editing multiple docudramas for the Discovery and Science Channels. His documentary work led to an opportunity on Dean Devlin’s pilot episode of Leverage, where he helped create an all-under-one-roof workflow—marking the beginning of an 18-year collaboration with Devlin’s Electric Entertainment.
Brian’s television credits include Leverage, The Librarians, Almost Paradise, Leverage: Redemption, and—coming in 2026—season two of The Librarians: The Next Chapter. His feature film work includes Bad Samaritan, Say My Name, The Deal, and One Big Happy Family.
Brian lives in Hermosa Beach, California with his wife and two daughters, and continues to enjoy the collaborative process of shaping stories from the edit room.
